14. THE SIGNS OF THE TIMES

Global warming or climate change.
Hurricanes and tornadoes.
New discoveries in outer space.
Earth quakes and volcanoes.
droughts, floods and fires in the news.
Solar flares from above.

//These are the signs of the times.//

The spirit of tolerance is in the air
Religious persecution.
Right is wrong and wrong is right.
Confusion, disillusion.
We lose our freedoms for security.
Self reliance for dependency.
Fascists, tyrants and Terrorists.
Politically correct will censor you.

//These are the signs of the times.//

Something’s coming beyond the horizon.
Could be good, or could be bad.
You are free to choose your tomorrow.
So wake up! my friend and decide.

13. A LIVING SACRIFICE UNTO THE LORD
 
Glory to Jesus, the perfect sacrifice.
Gave up his throne of glory,
to humbly live among men.
Let not my will be done, he said,
as he prayed in the garden.
The agony he felt was evident,
in the drops of blood he sweat.
He drank from the cup of horror.
as he obeyed the Father.

//I want to be, a living sacrifice, unto the LORD.//

Give me the power of your grace,
to overcome and obey.
To live holy, day by day.
and to obey to the Father.
